Honor Code
Honor is a tough concept
To adhere to a code
That no one can enforce, for many
Folks it does forebode
To be accountable to self
To one’s own set of rules
One that you form on your own
Not one that’s taught in schools
To think a little deeper and
Decide what’s right and wrong
Only those self-disciplined
Focused, patient and strong
Have a chance to write that code
And stick to it each day
Only Warriors do not
Their honor code betray
