About Miro

Peace

I go by many handles
But Miro’s my real name
In Slavic it means “peace”
And that’s my writing’s aim

Poems about courage
Patience, poise & grace
Selflessness & love
Amid this big rat race

To inspire readers
To have a peaceful heart
And a warrior’s spirit
At every day’s start

Rhymes to boost your vigor
And motivate you too
Wisdom to see clearly
The strength that lies in you!

Miro, good evening! I’m so happy to have found your website!! I haven’t found anything that I thought is bad! It’s all beautiful, smart, and so much of what you’ve written makes sense in a way that I don’t know why we haven’t thought of it ourselves until reading it. I’ve been sharing these pages with my children, hoping they might read and “listen/learn” as they read!! Thank you for sharing!! I’m truly speechless. I normally can find the right words but I’m in awe with what I’ve read so far. I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow! Soaking in more of your writings. You’re wonderfully talented and I’m truly happy to have stumbled upon your page. Have a blessed life!! :)

    • Hi Becky, thanks for writing. Glad to hear you’re enjoying and being inspired. If something you read resonates with you, then the passion and wisdom was already within you. Seeing it in someone else’s words merely casts light on ideas, concepts and feelings that we were already aware of but hadn’t taken the time to think about, hence that “why haven’t I thought of that?” feeling. :) The answer is simple: “Because we didn’t take the time.” Glad to hear you’re taking the time now. You’ll be amazed at what you already know and the strength you already possess when you take the time to discover it.
      Peace,
      Miro

  27. bipolarmuse says:

Miro, this may sound silly, but do I copy the 1-100 award and just add my own words and nomination at the end?? And of coarse thank you for the beautiful nomination… :)
I am so honored and grateful and look forward to handing it to another warrior. :)
    xo, muse

    • Miro says:

Not silly at all. :) You can do whatever you want. You can copy it all, parts, or make up something yourself about what being a modern warrior means to you. Others have been quoting the Heraclitus quote which nicely explains the name of the award. In the end, it’s not my award anymore. It wasn’t about getting honor back for myself, it was about encouraging others to bestow honor and gratitude onto others. Glad to hear it means so much to you. :)
      Peace & grace,
      ~Miro

  34. Miro, You have talked about being in pain, from a shoulder injury. I know an Advanced Rolfing Movement Specialist who might be able to help you. Are you in Toronto?

    • Miro says:

Just outside of Toronto. I’ve never heard of Rolfing. Just looked it up on Youtube and it looks interesting. What’s the specialist’s name?

      • Hi Miro,

Sorry about the long delay. I thought I would get a notification of a reply from you, but didn’t. My curiosity got the better of me so I finally checked the other day.(Please don’t publish this comment).

This is a link to show the contact information for the Toronto Rolfer that I would recommend.

  40. Karen Lynn says:

Hello Miro, not sure now what I put into Google, which brought up your site… lol .. sometimes surfing is like that.

I have quickly gone over some of your writings, and I notice you have a cross on, so I am to think you have a love for the truth? Well so do I !

I’ve been on a quest of my own for the truth, to many answers I couldn’t find within church organizations for over 30 years. So I don’t hold onto any religion as truth, only God’s word. I’m radical in my thinking as you also seem to be.

I love your spiritual style and agree with some of what you’ve written, but there are a few things that don’t line up as a straight double edge sword to his full truth.

I’d love to share with you, if you are interested.

God bless your heart, your thoughts and may your soul be filled with the very best wisdom from on high, so your little place here on the web, may truly point more people to the truth of Christ.

    Karen
